Our Journey with our Cotons de Tulear
About us
We got our first Malagasy Coton, Georgia, in 2022 from MCTCA breeder Crabapple Crossing Cotons after a couple years of research and reflection into the perfect breed for us. She was the most adorable pup and when we saw her photo we had to have her join our family. We had heard that Cotons are completely devoted to their people, and we were not disappointed. Georgia has been a most loving companion, who loves nothing more than following you around the house, vocalizing demands on your time, and being held in your arms enjoying belly rubs.
We did not initially decide to become breeders of Cotons de Tulear, but it became clear that these were such special dogs we wanted to ensure this rare breed continues to surprise and delight new owners into the future. After a considerable amount of time, in summer of 2025 we found a perfect companion and stud candidate for Georgia, Shadow Moon of MCTCA Cucurillo Cotons. They have been inseparable since.
We are fortunate to have been mentored by CC Spiliotis, of Crabapple Crossing Cotons, an MCTCA ethical breeder of more than 30 years, whose guidance has been immeasurable.
As preservation breeders our goal is to produce healthy, happy, quality Malagasy Cotons who will bring years of joy to their families.
